RNG is unfair, frustrating and makes content less enjoyable
yes, imho rng is unfair. Although everyone has the same chance of getting something, in the end, not everyone has to invest the same amount of effort and time to get a certain drop, and that is what counts in the end.
People who have an early drop on anything random, are "free" to play other stuff and enjoy there god roll or exo. People w/o that luck are hunting for it the whole seaon, getting more and more frustrated and maybe get hands on something juicy when the hype is long gone or the season is over and new stuff is introduced.
Exotics: here, there is a time gate on top! if it hasn't dropped in the three runs for each char, see u next week.... e.g. I did not get the exo from Disciple yet, and I played the Raid each and every week... now the dungeon. got the triumphs, played it three times each week, no drop... team mate, first run, got carried, no triumph: Sword on first try. How is that fair???
weapon shaping: I thought, the idea was to play with your favourite weapon and develop it over time... yeah, nice idea, but is not working, if the rng for the patterns is so bad, that u cannot shape it... and when u finally get it, all the kills that u made with a "normal" roll aren't counting. So, kill farm starts all over.... and finally, u got your enhanced ahped roll, when the season is over and there is no content left anymore to play with it.
In a game designed with time limited content, there must be destrinct ways to get hands on itmes early w/o the factor of luck. I want to play the new content WITH the cool gear, not getting it afterwards to put it in a shelf...
