Shouldn't a massive 42% nerf be something worth mentioning to us?
-
Because all of the bungo Destiny2 developers, unlike D1, hate Titans and nerf anything remotely good on them. They should just remove Titans completely from the game.
-
If you already know about it then what difference does it make?
-
Titans always seem to get nerfed into the ground. Was actually enjoying playing with my Titan last week, used a pile of resources creating the perfect build for my playstyle. Log in this week and it feels weak as F! Throw the hammer at a thrall and it stands there looking at me laughing. Solar power fantasy that they were hoping for didn't really last long.
-
Was fixed to the previous nerf. The exotics were not supposed to be doing that much dmg.

Edited by DrMcnugget1: 6/8/2022 4:16:58 PMAlso funny how they fix that quick as hell yet the sidearm mod is still down this company is absolute trash
-
Because, we don’t matter, only our money matters.
-
My guess is last time someone said something about titans it put that dev on suicide watch soooo.....
-
Don't know if it was already said, but the Nerf was announced in a different TWAB and is stated in the Resent Patch notes. The Nerf isn't to Hammers, it's to Syntho. It's actually a Fix, as the Actual Nerf was Bugged and wasn't "working as intended". Hammers didn't get Nerfed, it was Syntho that was Nerfed.
-
Its synthoceps, they were bugged and were put in line. Switch to wormgod and you'll have your power fantasy back
-
While the nerf was 100% needed, there is zero excuse for these kinds of things to not be in the patch notes or even communicated prior to the change. Destiny has always had overpowered builds, Bungie should acknowledge them, let them ride for a short time, announce when the patch will take place, then patch it. You end up in the same place, but the community ends up feeling a lot better about it. Leave it to Bungie to not communicate changes to their game.
-
Bungie doesn't actually want us to have fun playing their game.
-
My new favorite bugs are I can't Transmog, Invincible adds in containment and Vertical Text. Thank God they nerfed Titan Hammer it was ruining my game.
-
deserved nerf tbh
-
Edited by draycole: 6/8/2022 10:16:03 PMThey nerfed throwing hammer damage by 42%? Edit: So they didn't nerf throwing hammer damage by 42%. They adjusted how it is scaled with damage bonuses. For anyone who cares.
-
As a Lock Main, was excited to play on the Hunter Solar and give it a go. As I am a buildcrafter and number pusher, just a Description Fix only, shouldn't over correct a exotic perk. Sixth Coyote seem like it is the go to now for the the Knife refresh. Caliban's Hand doesn't do as intended after their "Only Description Fix". Was acting like the Sun bracer before only the description fix. They were Neutered Lol..
-
It was supposed to be changed at the start of the season and the change was definitely warranted, but it should have been listed in the patch notes. The nerf is just affecting how buffs stack together, pretty sure base throwing hammer bonks aren’t less potent but they’ll have reduced damage on the high end. Just a simple “hey just a heads up, this was supposed to launch at the beginning of the season prepare to notice a reduction in buff stacking ease of use with the patch.” would go a long way.
-
Bets that the hammer nerf was supposed to have taken place already and because it didn't work, they didn't feel it necessary to tell us again.
-
The real reason is there was a "bonk" cheese with the hammer. It had to do with throwing it at allies and charging it up to the point you could one shot Atheon and -blam!-. My friend sent me a clip so I'm not too great on telling the details but I seen what it can do.
-
This the first season I try using throwing hammers and I’m enjoying how they work with my new build then it gets nerfed 😢
-
Wait, what was the nerf? I was still one shotting every non-boss in the master dungeon last night?
-
-
Thank you for clarifying this. I was doing the dungeon after reset ans the ads were taking two hammers. I thought it was me but now it's clear that, out of all the problems in this game, Bungo concentrated on fixing the one no one complained about... #Bungielogic
-
They put it on Twitter
-
Obviously because Bungie didn’t think it was important enough to tell the players of the game.
-
They also stated that vortex grenades were bugged & not dealing damage intended- still nerfed 16% compared to S16 after “fix.” Are these “bugs” or “nerfs” , bungo??
-
Those of us that are firmly ensconced in the influencer/elite tier community wholeheartedly agree.
BTW I’m a Wayfarer and D1 pre alpha vet so you would be correct in assuming I’m kinda up there and know what I’m talking about.
