Getting kicked out of menus after character spawned when still changing armor mods, shaders, reading perks on gear, checking Eververse, reading quest objectives, reading bounties & etc is really annoying. I know it's a small thing but it really bothers me. I just want to change my loadout (& other stuff mentioned) whenever without interruption like in between activities especially after doing a Legendary / Master lost sector to test a gun or a specific loadout
Oh look your character spawned, let's just close the menu that you're still using & force you to reopen that
-
Oh look, more griefers and bullies to block here 🙄
-
The ironic thing is that you can be in your vault/inventory and take off. I can’t count the number of times I thought I was equipping something only to have it placed right back into the vault
-
bruh yes in pvp if you want to report someone being sus in trials it was cancele it repeatedly you have to wait till rounds fully started. Even does it when i fly to tower like why do i need to be yanked out of menu when tower loads?
-
This has always really annoyed me. Having to wait until after transmat to go looking through whatever menu is lame and really robs me being efficient.
-
Some of yall really never run out of things to complain about.
-
I don't know why there is a possibility of loseing gear when still in the menu spawning in that makes no sense
-
They said a long time ago that it was to prevent the loss of gear/items.
-
Oh no I have to press a button again, it's the worst thing ever.
Getting kicked out of menus after character spawned when still changing armor mods, shaders, reading perks on gear, checking Eververse, reading quest objectives, reading bounties & etc is really annoying.
Bungie already stated on Reddit, that this stuff happens to prevent bugs and losing items during loading sequences of the game. It is a protection feature to protect the player from stuff disappearing or not working. Never going to go away. Deal with it.

I mean it’s almost like they do it that way to get you to play the game when game loads you in. With all these afk people getting booted, makes sense that everyone is ready to play when an activity starts. But countless strikes, crucible matches I know people don’t pay attention to what they are doing, and life happens you have to step away I get it. But you affect other players/playing.

Edited by LocoToopa: 6/7/2022 12:47:17 AM7.5 years of playing this franchise and it's the only thing I've ever complained about the game. And maybe lag, but that's more of a rant than an actual complaint. Nerf whatever you like, buff whatever you like, put whatever you want in the dvc, sell whatever in eververse, make any change you can think of and I don't care, I will adapt. Just stop kicking me out of my menuuuuuuuuuuuuuu!!!!!!!! Or at the very least, remember which menu I was in and return there first 👍
-
Why don't you just finish what you're doing before going into an activity? And if it's not locked loadouts, why don't you just do it when you load in?
-
Edited by CookieNiki: 6/7/2022 2:50:49 PMBungie already explained that it’s how the game system works for security reasons. In almost every other game we can’t do -blam!- during loading screens and nobody whines about it. Some Destiny players are just spoiled brats, nothing else.
-
I know it’s a small thing, but it really annoys me when people come on the forum to complain about basically nothing.
-
It’s to prevent the game from deleting items. If you were switching guns when loading into a place, you’d risk loosing them. Just be glad that destiny allows you to open and manage your inventory while loading.

Been a thing since D1
