The Dungeon Key is Ridiculous
If it isnt evident enough that Bungie is trying to squeeze every last bit of money from its dying player base, the "Dungeon Key' takes the Cake without a doubt . Why should players be expected to spend another $20 on top of the witch queen and the two past seasons just because they didnt want to buy the grossly overpriced deluxe edition. I can only imagine what this means for future raids and dungeons and how this will further alienate the already dwindling player base. A terrible marketing practise by bungie which borders on the line of robbery.

I feel like most of the people saying “should have bought the deluxe” either are teenagers who had parents money, And/or aren’t original D1 players where we got so much content at better prices.

You're completely right and I've never seen so many people blinded by love of a game to not realize this isn't how things should be, you buy which queen then have to pay more for a witch queen dungeon, its idiotic. The people saying "don't complain" likely bought everything there is too buy in this game and don't want to admit at how bad somethin like this is. This isn't some small studio anymore!

4 RepliesWell if you didn't want to buy the deluxe edition because it's "too expensive", you don't really complain when you have to pay MORE for then all separately. It was known from the beginning that the deluxe version was the best deal.

5 RepliesIf you do the math, the deluxe addition costs a lot less than buying everything separately. Deluxe with 30th anniversary was $100. Add up everything you get: -40 for seasons -40 for wq -30 for 30th -20 for dungeons That’s $130. Should’ve bought the deluxe.

I don’t think $10 more than any previous expansion qualifies as “grossly overpriced”. If the dungeons were included within a season pass or wq base then the deluxe version wouldn’t have offered a discount because wq + 4 seasons is $80. WQ 30th Anniversary bundle would have saved you $30 and given you access to EVERYTHING until the next annual expansion.
