I'm reposting this here since I bet the tweet will be drowned in other messages and never be seen. I participated in the Vow of the Disciple contest mode, and I cleared the entire raid, got credit for the entire thing - enough to get the regular emblem during the contest mode (each encounter is tracked individually there, too), just not the contest clear emblem because I beat Rhulk during the extension. But because of the way the game was coded or released or whatever, among all of the issues during the launch, my teams rewards for the first encounter didn't drop. We checked the triumph, saw that it still tracked as complete, and decided that it was yet another bug in an extremely frustrating and buggy launch, and moved on to Caretaker. I went through several other LFG teams by the time I got my clear. I earned rewards for all of the other encounters. I earned the regular emblem. And with the extension, I knew I had earned the contest clear emblem. Even Raid Report displays that I cleared it during contest mode, a third party app which pulls the data from Bungie, as I understand it. I have screenshots and clips from throughout my clear, all with original timestamps.
I was exhausted by the time I was done, but I saw that I had extra time and decided to help friends and strangers learn the final encounter and beat it so that they, too, could earn their clear. Buy the end of contest mode, I had around 9 Rhulk carries. If I had known that the system YOU coded wouldn't acknowledge my time and effort because it failed to give me the rewards I earned, I would have gone back and cleared the first encounter again. But I earned my emblem. I was just fine, all in the clear. So why am I now being punished for it?
I earned that emblem, and I have the proof of it. Please put someone in contact with me to discuss addressing this issue, since there seems to be no other way to get through to support than through the forums.

Allo there, Unfortunately if you don't have the emblem by now then you did not qualify for it. The Bungie help team investigated and all qualifying accounts were given the emblem. As stated in the last TWaB. https://www.bungie.net/en/News/Article/51371
The Cleaver emblem and associated Triumph for the completion of the Vow of the Disciple raid during the Contest Mode extension have been successfully distributed to all qualifying players. Destiny Player Support has investigated reports of players who believed to have qualified for the emblem and Triumph but did not receive them, and in all instances the players had at least one encounter of the raid that was not successfully recorded as complete during the Contest Mode window. For players to have earned this emblem, they had to receive a reward in every raid encounter during Contest Mode. If players did not receive a reward after completing a specific encounter, the game did not count them as completing the encounter, and so The Cleaver emblem could not be granted.
Nothing more can be done I'm afraid.

What about the life for a life emblem that has been showing in game for weeks but not able to earn??

What sucks is I have a full stream beating every encounter during contest mode with 6 hours of error codes! But hey I didn’t get loot from the first encounter because the servers are not bugged whatsoever. I really regret taking days off for this.

I'm in the same boat and moral of the story, never trust Bungie to actually do what they say. I took 30 minutes into the extension to finish mine and here I am without any emblem. What's great is how we are just getting ignored now, couldn't they check if someone cleared the encounter and see if they got loot and if you were in the fireteam with them? All because one encounter bugged out and never gave loot even though we got checkmarks. This whole ordeal of waiting then being told it's getting investigated to only be told "sucks to suck" put such a bitter taste in my mouth I don't care to do another day 1 raid. They aren't fun to do, they are unhealthy to do for your body to be at the computer for 20 hours non stop playing a game.

If you don’t have it then you didn’t legitimately earn it. Or the group didn’t clear it all together
