Some floating discs that show base and precision damage numbers is the most absolute basic replacement for what we wanted in a Test Range environment. They don't even count all of a rocket / grenade launcher's damage!
Aside from fixing the targets to include both impact AND explosion damage on Rockets and Grenade Launchers, I'd like 3 major things:
1. Distance Markers: So we know how far we're actually shooting. 1m, 2m, 3m, 5m, 10m, 20m, 50m can be useful with a wall of sorts to bump up against so we're sure we're in the right spot for reference
2. Allow the targets to provide damage and precision-related perks like Rapid Hit, Frenzy, and Focused Fire.
3. Give breakable targets to allow us to try out other kill-related perks like Tunnel Vision, Kill Clip, and Rampage
As a bonus 4th, perhaps give bigger-sized Targets along the side of the range to count for Major and Boss-type enemies.
This current haphazardly-tossed discs-in-the-air setup is very unhelpful.

Edited by L33LHO: 5/14/2022 11:35:55 PMIs it a actual firing range? Just looks pointless to me, only good thing about it you can go there before a strike and get max heavy like you could at the tribute hall. This "firing range" looks like a half arsed puzzle they couldn't be bothered to finish.

The targets just need distance markers on them like amo crates or capture flags have. Maybe make some of them move, back and forth or a figure 8 or something, activate aim assist.

There is a firing range?

What needs some serious improvement is the firing range at the tower! Oh wait there isn’t one, maybe having one where ever a vault is would be neat, for most people I mean. I’m sure some don’t like firing ranges in their shooter games.

It didn’t need to be there to begin with.
