Hello, my join code stopped working a little while ago and I suspect it has something to do with my activating cross save. When I linked my Xbox account to bungie my bungie name changed from my usual steam name to my Xbox gamertag, at the time my join code still worked while using my Xbox gamertag. I hated my gamertag so when the bungie name change option came out i opted to change my name to "poggers".
After changing my name my join code no longer worked, it didn't work for my steam, bungie, or Xbox gamertag usernames. Today I was finally able to deactivate cross save and i was hoping my join code would return to normal but that did not seem to be the case as my steam name and bungie name are the same but my join code will still not work.
I am thinking that something has messed up on the bungie side of things and something did not get saved or transferred over correctly. I am hoping a bungie staff member could look into this for me and perhaps get my join code working again as I do not usually play solo and I like to invite people from the D2 discord LFG. Without my join code this makes inviting people a little bit of a hassle.
When people try my join code it gives them a message of
"UNABLE TO JOIN
Unable to join the target player. Please try again later."
Any help with this would be greatly appreciated!! Thank you in advance.
