Bungie can you pleaseeeeee trial the idea of having heavy weapons disabled for both attackers and defenders during an invasion.
Heavies should be forced into a boss or ad clearing role during the PvE portion of gambit (mote collecting) the reason disabling heavies for both teams during an invasion would make sense is, this promotes a "hunt or be hunted" mentality, if you invade during a boss damage window, the defenders HAVE to focus the invader if they want to maximise boss damage (because heavies would be disabled for them) same applies to the invading team, they invade at the cost of heavy being disabled. this might also promote "fewer" invasions if a team wanted to maximise a 4 man cheese (but this still leaves them open to be invaded and having heavy disabled)
The system wouldnt really be able to be cheesed because both parties lose heavy functionality during the invasion, so if someone decided to invade and "hide" this would still effect the team that chose to invade. please trial the idea in labs, heavy is the problem. remove its use from invasions and gambit might actually be worth playing.
