Hi,
My mouse have been having issues, double clicking when i only press down once and it makes for some annoying things to happen both in-game and on the desktop.
So I downloaded a software called Clickfix from the site thats attached to this topic.
The software puts a delay after my first mouse click (about 10-100ms) so when i release the click, it doesnt missfire again, resulting in a double click.
Is this bannable?
Quote from their github team:
How it works
ClickFix is very simple. Most of the script's length is actually the interface logic. As mentioned in the about section, all it does is debounce the mouse clicks. Every time you click a button that is targeted for fixing, ClickFix will hold it down in software for a short amount of time until you release it. Normally, the multiple clicks a wild mouse performs happen very fast, so the delay that ClickFix imposes is long enough to cancel the extra clicks - but short enough to mostly not be noticed.
Quote from one of their devs working on this software on the question "is Clickfix bannable?":
The chances of this are very low, because ClickFix doesn't actually communicate with the underlying DLLs that run the games input routines - it has an overarching input routine that doesn't actually receive information from the programs it's running over.
Of course I can't guarantee anything, but there's a very low chance of interference here.
As of now I don't dare to use it while Destiny is running, my account is of great value after being close to 4000hrs. But it would be nice to have it running, preventing my faulty mouse's misfirings.
Im 90% sure it isn't against ToS ,especially in PvE activities, but it would be nice knowing for sure.
