Perhaps it’s just rinse and repeat of the seasonal model causing fatigue? But I am getting real tired of rotating playlists on weekly lockouts… I have the sniper left to craft in wellspring and if I miss an opportunity when the weapon is on rotation I have to wait for the next time it’s available. Legend completion of a psi ops - quite why this was locked to a repeating cycle I can’t quite fathom… Again I have to wait to complete both moon and cosmodrome as this week is EDZ. Why wasn’t this made selectable? The issue is here I feel forced to play D2 with fixed dates in my cal… I understand why this is done (to spread content and prevent early completion) but it does not incentivise the average player. D2 is becoming a game of waiting. I complete my pinnacles and get to 1580 - I then wait for my fellow clan mates who through no particular fault of their own take longer to reach the same power level/point. This effectively locks us all out of playing legendary wellspring and all the other activities that require a higher power level. GM’s at 1600 yeah… at this point in the season only three of us are around the 1575 power level requirement. So why is this? 1) we have all invested a lot of time into the enjoyable campaign although some of us have yet to complete it on our alts 2) this month has been crazy for game releases - horizon forbidden west/Elden ring etc. D2 has become so time demanding/time critical it is locking out players who otherwise would have a reason to pop on for a bit and enjoy the content at a pace that suits them. Not everyone plays this game 40 hours a week. Something has to change here in the long term. Bungie said they wanted to stop FOMO but a large part of the season pass model seems to revolve around time gated content that has an expiration date.
