Now with weekly rotator for raids and the ability to farm said raids, it’s beyond me how the old weapons haven’t seen any changes. I mean seriously, all LW and GoS weapons have like 4 perks per column and no unique perks like in DSC or VotD.
Something tells me bungie decided to go with the bare minimum when doing rotation for raids. Like, even d1 rotators had more effort with adepts and cool new armor.
I guess I’ll be going back to dismantling my 100th apex predator or prophet of doom because these weapons just ain’t all that.
To clarify: it’s not about perks being good or bad (apart from apex that thing is dog lmao), it’s about the fact these guns only have 4 per column and they’ve been in the game for 2-3 YEARS meaning I have all possible rolls. What’s the point of farming if there isn’t any reason to?

Edited by The Rat King: 4/18/2022 4:12:02 PMI disagree although I would at least say old Raids need Origin Perks added is all. Maybe dungeons too but perhaps there should be a “dungeon origin perk” and a “dungeon specific origin perk”. So like the dungeon origin perk would be something like killing Majors/Ultras grants a sum of health to all fire team members” and then a specific dungeon perk would be like “This Pit of Heresy Weapon deals more damage to Swordbearers”.

Nah, they have pretty OP perk combinations, especially Last Wish weapons. You won't find Rampage and Kill Clip all in one weapon on any other weapon outside of Last Wish.

They are pretty good. Last Wish has Kill clip rampage on both Scout and Fusion. AR is strong too. GoS has fusion which is strong as hell in PvP and the bow can roll rapid hit archer tempo… Its just most other weapons are bad archetypes

Archer’s tempo explosive head on the gos bow seems pretty good to me

I dunno about that how many weapons can roll rampage + kill clip these days? Few in last wish can. An origin trait would be nice though no doubt but I think the perk pools are fine for those raids.
