Sunspots were nerfed in anticipation of this exotic. To the point where opponents take the time to sunbathe on your sunspots now and warm up their crotch as they t bag before they leave.
I was okay with that when I saw we’d be getting this helmet. Now they’ve gone and tied it to the barricade!? If you die, it spawns a sunspot, meaning YOU LOSE YOUR BARRICADE CHARGE ON DEATH!
In all honesty this seems like it was a lazy change, “oh just make it like the wormhusk and tie it to the class ability” Hunters don’t lose their dodge ability on death.
Ez fix, revert it completely to how it was when WQ dropped or revert the sunspot burn damage to pre WQ levels.
At least then it would almost be a fair trade off given the fact that you get recovery/ ability regen and a potent sunspot.

Edited by hate n payne: 3/4/2022 2:45:38 PMIt is the Bungie way. We should be used to it by now. Crossplay with no in game LFG. Underused or forgotten exotics with no changes to fit into diversity for the community. They are approaching the same concepts with how they handle sandbox changes for META designed for content. Their priorities are wickedly off. 😂😂😂😂
