This is intended to outline bugs I have run into since the expansion launched. I am avoiding bugs that I have already seen Bungie mention on Twitter or trending in these forums (Like not being able to purchase another Ascendant Alloy from Master Rahool this week). I apologize ahead of time for any repeats! Feel free to comment below if you have experienced the same issues. -No longer receiving Strange Coins outside of Dares of Eternity I have not received any Strange Coins outside of DoE since the expansion launched. This has been incredibly frustrating because the only source that I have been able to find is receiving 1 strange coin after each round of DoE and the couple that drop from the rare boss in round 2 or the occasional Paraversal Haul. With 3 characters, this means that I have to complete 21 rounds of DoE just to be able to purchase the Legendary Starhorse bounty for each of my characters, ignoring all of the other bounties completely. This has been pretty frustrating and I saw nothing about this in the patch notes so I'm assuming that it is a bug/oversight instead of an intended change. -No longer receiving Neutral Element from turning in Deepsight Resonance Objectives I understand that there is a cap for the legendary elements, but I am out of vault space and so I have been turning in the Deepsight Resonance objective on most weapons now even if I don't receive the legendary elements. Recently, I have been turning in the objective but I am not receiving any elements at all, including the Neutral Elements. Not sure if this is a bug or if there is some hidden cap for Neutral Elements. -Unable to progress inside of Psiops Battleground: EDZ In the EDZ Psiops Battleground, I was in a group that was unable to continue to the end of the mission because we moved too quickly from the first area to the second area. After clearing the starting area of enemies, it starts a dialogue with the story characters and lists "Pursue the Hunting Party Leader" as the objective on the left side of the screen. Our entire fireteam moved very quickly and entered the first portal before the dialogue completed. After the dialogue completed, the objective changed to "Enter the Dark Forest," but our whole team was already in the Dark Forest, so it would not progress the objective and would not spawn any enemies. -Unable to use Qualichor after finishing the quest After obtaining 8 Qualichor and converting it into a Refined Qualichor with Fynch and then using it to open a chest after defeating another group of Lucent Brood Executioners, I have no way to redeem more Qualichor and I can only hold 1 in my inventory and 1 in the mailboxes of each of my characters. In the item description it says that I should be able to bring it to Fynch, but no special prompts appear whenever I go to speak to him. I am not sure if this is a bug, or if it just serves no purpose after redeeming the first Refined Qualichor. -PS5 Character Model loading issues I have been playing on a PS5 Digital Edition. After the first couple days of playing The Witch Queen expansion, I started to notice that every once in a while my character model and the character models of other players would appear invisible. Then it stopped loading the model for my guns and their associated sounds, which made the game very frustrating. I had the most issues with this in crucible where I could not see the enemy players and I had no sight on my gun, making it a pretty terrible experience. -Parasite Quest not working on second character I finished the Legendary campaign on my first character and was on step 10 of the Parasite quest when I swapped to my second character and finished the Legendary Campaign again. Upon this second completion, I talked to Ikora and I was told to go talk to Mara Sov in the Enclave. But Mara Sov was not there and I could not find a way to make her load in so I could get the quest on that character. Eventually I figured out that I was able to accept it from the quest archive, but it took me a couple days until I found this. I really appreciate all of the incredible work that goes in to making and maintaining this game. The Witch Queen Expansion is by far the best expansion I have ever experienced in and game and we are just getting started! I share all of the above only in the hopes that I can improve people's experience playing Destiny 2. I am more than happy to put together screenshots and videos if needed.
