Fantastic job, truly. It’s fun and everything, but there is a problem with exotic choices now for Void 3.0 Titans: I will never take off Heart of Inmost Light on my Void 3.0 Titan, ever. It's survival (especially with volatile rounds uptime) and damage are simply too good to compete with. This being said, please DON’T nerf it. It’s in a good place. The below changes are an attempt to remedy this reliance. It’s a small suite of changes to bubble and exotics. These changes are lightweight and will not disturb much of the codebase (hopefully) & meta. [b]The goal[/b]: make exotic choices more interesting on void titan, rather than always defaulting to Heart of Inmost Light. [b]General Bubble change[/b]: non-armor of light overshield should quickly decay upon leaving the bubble. This will help the ‘dying the millisecond after peaking out of the bubble’ phenomena which just feels bad and will never be interesting gameplay. [b]Helm of Saint 14[/b]: Currently there is practically no reason to use this exotic. For every enemy you would like to blind (bosses and champions) you simply cannot. Not a bad thing, because CC chains in PvE are boring and should be avoided. Looks amazing though. Overshields are nice but are destroyed extremely fast in high-tier content making it feel like a lackluster investment into using Helm for your exotic slot. - [u]Suggested Change[/u]: Grant the caster armor of light while they leave the bubble. This would provide huge utility for the Titan. I personally believe that this should be granted to all allies who leave the shield, but this would break crucible so I understand why that wouldn’t be a good idea. - [u]Optional Suggested Change[/u]: I also believe it would be a good idea to let Helm of Saint 14 buff weapons of light back to it’s original space, allowing for some more interesting and diverse exotic choices (heart for neutral, helm for extra damage and juicy armor) - [u]Optional Suggestion[/u]: To lean into the support playstyle, giving bubble a healing aura while inside would be very fantasy reinforcing. But a little boring imo, would also butt into the domain of well a little too much. (But they got our damage buff so screw them lmao) [i]Note[/i]: I think that to prevent the power of armor of light stacking with well of radiance, make the buffs not stackable perhaps? Insane healing or insane armor of light, take your pick. Would make it a LOT easier to design and balance raid encounters. [b]Ursa Furiosa[/b]: Currently this is not useful at all unless being berated with a massive amount of damage (which almost assuredly breaks the shield). I will never use this again in GMs in its current state due to the insane survival of Heart of inmost light. - [u]Suggested change[/u]: Allow Ursa to gain stacks of super recharge on allies firing through shield - [u]Suggested change[/u]: Ursa Furiosa Shield should gain a major durability buff to prevent being one-shot in high level content (gms and such) - [u]Suggested change[/u]: Please remove the ‘stagger’ animation on getting your shield broken, or at least reduce the duration so we do not get killed instantaneously for using our super - [u]Optional Suggestion[/u]: Shifting weapons of light original damage from Helm to Ursa would be a phenomenal way to reinforce titan fantasy and giving a good reason to combine well with Titan supers. [b]Doom Fang Pauldrons[/b]: Super Recharge is so quick from heart’s insane damage output that it feels really lackluster to invest an exotic slot into: - [u]Suggested Change[/u]: grant secondary grenade charge outside of super. Extremely simple and I think would be very useful for elemental well builds. (No one uses armamentarium anyways) - [u]Optional Change[/u]: Buff the super regen gained on orb of power pickup. Sort’ve like crest of alpha lupi but a more Titan focused perspective.
