Not sure if this is intended or not but the helmet siphon mods for orb generation don't count for things like powerful friends' secondary effect. I have arc siphon equipped and it doesn't give the +20 mobility bonus from powerful friends. It's an arc mod same as hands-on so it [i]should[/i] theoretically work with it.
On another note Bungie, having orb generation as a helmet mod is a bad fix. We already have stat boosts, ammo finders, targeting mods, charged with light mods, and well mods on helmets, all some of the most important mods in the game. There is physically not enough mod slots or energy available on helmets for orb generation to also be there. Even if there was it decreases the amount of buildcrafting available by a metric ton. It's a bad change, please consider moving the mods elsewhere (ghosts, for example) or giving us orb generation through another route.
