Deleting a main does what?
Curious, if one were to delete their main, say the day before Witch Queen and created a new main same class to go into WQ, would anything be lost or need a re-grind to obtain?
Just wondering if that might be an easy moment for a free do-over on character creation.
Also, please, please tell me WQ will also bring in the Bungie name change, how can it take this long to just let me pick a new name after you took away my old one for unknown reasons.

But everything in the vault for that character will still be there. Bungie said that all characters created before WQ will get all the pre-raid Void 3.0 abilities from the start. Which would imply if you make a new character after the WQ release you may need to quest to obtain those. You will also need to reacquire Stasis and it’s Aspects for that class. The character will have to go through the new light quest, and won’t be seen as having completed the ShadowKeep or Beyond Light campaigns. So there will be some activities you won’t have access to until you reach certain points in those campaigns. I think that’s it. I believe collections and triumphs are all account based, so they won’t go anywhere.

2 RepliesIt's a possibility that main of yours will have to obtain aspects and fragments for the Void subclass as they are only retroactive provided you played prior to the Witch Queen. If it's account based, you may not have to but if it isn't then you will have to. As for Stasis, that is character tied and you will have to reobtain their aspects. And lastly, but not least, character history tied to D2 history only will be affected. Unique dialogues of what you've done may be affected, but to what extent, I'm not too sure.
