TLDR: Due to the design philosophies of crucible having changed since the start of Destiny 2, not all maps are adequate for a positive 6v6 experience. I request that Dead Cliffs be taken out of rotation in favor of a larger map.
The experience that can occur on Dead Cliffs in Control may end up being one sided. Particularly if there is a greater gap in the skills between players and fireteam size. I just completed a match where the enemy team was in a fire team together. They won the match and didn’t capture a zone one time. We had a power play for the entire duration of the match. However our opponents were vastly more coordinated and skilled than mine was.
The result was four of their teammates got we ran out of medals.
The reason for this, I don’t just attribute to the overall issue of the match. You come across large groups all the time in Crucible. Rather the issue is how Dead Cliffs’ is designed.
Dead cliffs was made for a time when the maximum number of players in a given crucible match was Eight. Unlike Fortress or Midtown which made this transition more easily, Dead Cliffs is not a map that can give a balanced and fun gameplay experience
Because of how easily players can manipulate where their opponents appear.

It’s a good map... for trials comp and clash.
