Hi, it's me again, your resident Normal Person.
First off, great job on the Grasp of Avarice soundtrack, it's a banger!
I just downloaded the track again using the Gjallardays link because the recent Youtube upload reminded me, and I was once again surprised to find that a simple MP3 was almost 32 MB. After extracting the (16 MB, 3200x3200!) cover art and looking at it in Photoshop, I noticed that at some point between finalization of the (presumably originally 1600x1600) art and inclusion in the released MP3, someone applied a 2x nearest neighbor upscale, resulting in a 3200x3200 JPEG more than ten times as large than what it needed to be.
Here's two zoomed in crops with Photoshop's pixel grid overlay: https://imgur.com/a/oF2fP6u
You can clearly see that those pixels are chunkier than usual.
I scaled it back down using nearest neighbor interpolation and losslessly shrunk the filesize down some more. Enjoy the cover art as it was intended to be enjoyed, in 1600x1600 and weighing in at under 1 MB: https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/481007384592908301/938539993410977852/graspofavarice.jpg
(apologies for the Discord link, but imgur would mess with the image quality)
Here's a size comparison between the original file (left) and the same file with the fixed cover art (right): https://i.imgur.com/wSXKTrK.png
Far be it from me to tell Bungie what to do, but you need to check those files before making them public. Every user with slow internet, limited disk space, or just software that chokes on huge cover art thanks you! 💙

16MB is chump change. Nowadays with hard drives that usually have a TB after the number and internet speeds that regardless of where you are in the civilized world can download that in a few seconds, most ppl would not care.
