Bungie | Sony Group - Global
Statement on the Bungie acquisition by Sony Group Corporation
You can't help but think that this purchase is definitely a tragic turn of events from a fan's point of view; Destiny was so good simply because, unlike other MMOs, it combined fresh ideas and unique rpg concepts. You usually had to wait a long time for dlcs, but it was also worth it because Bungie wanted to be more of a creative workshop than a content factory. This will all be lost now, because Sony - like all profit-oriented corporations - will focus on (content) mass rather than having the patience to wait forever for brilliant ideas. Then the Destiny player will be provided with more content more often, but this will only be 0815 standard fare that will not differ from other games - because truly remarkable ideas are not found overnight - and Sony will not sacrifice the time needed for this.

Last time I checked, bungie was focused on profits too. Did the IQ of some of this players drop a few points after this sale was completed?
