Lore is not fanfiction, fanfiction is not lore. Use #fanfiction
Friendly reminder that a while ago people were posting about how fanfiction writers were not supposed to be here. It isn't lore. The compromise was for the most part honored that fanfiction writers would use the tag #fanfiction to show it isn't lore.
Now the entire front page doesn't have a single use of it. Friendly reminder that people leave when lore gets overrun with people not following stuff like that and eventually down the road? When a group loses enough people to other tags? Bungie replaces that tag on the All Topics tab.
So this is just a simple ask: Fanfiction writers, could you please keep using the fanfiction tag? Thanks.

25 RepliesBetter yet, stop with the absolute nonsense fan fiction altogether. It makes me cringe every time. I can just picture these kids getting themselves off thinking about scenarios involving in-game characters.
