It's not just using it as an example bungie wants everyone to buy witch queen but they do all this stuff before it launches knowing full well people will still buy it The point is you can complain about the state of the game they just don't care because at the end of the day your just another dollar sign, would not surprise me if they some how monetize weapon crafting just like how they did with transmog.
