It’s like the boots traction mod all over again, even if this orb mod cost 0 energy it still takes up a slot better served for other mods.
If anything it needs to be intrinsic on all masterworked helmets

Ok, but then you'd have to change the element of your helmet to match the element of your gun messing up your build This makes little sense

If they tie the mods to affinity that will be the actual final straw on this being an overly convoluted change. Right now it’s a nerf that does multiple things and they are trying to disguise it. The mods being element specific is the only thing that will at least make it a passably streamlined nerf.
