Why do you PC players hate controller users?
Serious question, cuz I don’t understand.
Isn’t there way more advantage to using mnk for a FPS game?
Like from what I can gather (console player btw) controller users would be at a disadvantage if anything so like...who cares?

I don't know exactly why, but it's probably related to the same reason M&K support for consoles is so overlooked by Bungie.

1 ReplyNew echo chamber complaint. 4 years ago PC players openly mocked controller users saying that they could outplay any controller user anytime and nothing could come close to MnK skill. Now, 4 years later, nothing has changed about the input devices yet MnK users cry and moan that the only reason they can’t win is because of controllers and controllers aren’t fair. Just an excuse to cover up why they got outplayed not that the other player was just better than them. 🤷🏼♂️

I doubt they hate the user so much as the controller itself due to aim assist.

I don’t think MNK players “hate” controller users. I think MNK players dislike controller easy of use and aim assist. I personally think controller is broken. I come from other FPS games like Rust and CS:GO. Not to sound egotistical but I’m good with a mouse. It’s extremely easy for me to “click heads.” The last time I played controller was over 5 years ago, yet in Destiny I play on controller. Why? It’s unreal… it’s so unbelievably easy and the shots I hit sometimes leave me in astonishment. I’ve played both MNK and controller on this game and I will never swap back to MNK. Even if controller aim assist and aim friction is cut in HALF I would still play controller. Yes, MNK has better movement. So what? Movement in this game is overrated. If you play intelligently and have good positioning you don’t need MNK movement. Also, if you play 15+ sens on the sticks (I play 16) you basically have MNK movement. Movement comes into play SOMETIMES. Aim is always in play… it’s a FPS. I can understand why MNK players don’t like controllers. My opinion? Swap and abuse it. That’s what I did and I have yet to regret it.

They get a soft aimbot, destiny isn’t really a precision game like csgo so any advantage m and k gets in that department is totally negated.. The amount of aimbot they get is also tied to frames… Really the only advantage is faster turn speed but when controller players sit so far back beaming you what’s the use on that most of the time ?

People complain about controllers because they have aim assist and reticle stickiness which makes aiming quite easy, compared to MnK which is mostly raw input and less consistent. In some situations, controller has an objective advantage over MnK. For example guns such as Auto rifles, snipers, and last word are objectively easier to aim and are more consistent on a controller. This leads people to complain because you can have an easy time on a controller with a gun that is harder to use on MnK. MnK has its advantages as well, presenting similar situations in which you can pull something off that you cant do on controller, but it is mostly related to movement whereas controller makes it easier to aim which is a bigger game cha-blam!- in a shooting game. I personally dont think the difference matters enough to warrant the complaints, I have reached the point where I don't care and I recognize that both are relatively pretty easy. However I can't lie, I use a controller once in a while for fun and am always shocked by how quickly I can pick it up and match my performance on MnK which I have used exclusively for the past 3 years or so.

They all cry about the aa we get while on m&k they don't get aa. But what they don't realise you need the aa on controller otherwise we'd all be trash in pvp. I tend to ignore these sorta complaints as a console player myself. But it's funny whenever I go in pc lobbies people start sending hate mail either through bungie app or my actual messages on xbox. Not my fault a lot of people suck in this games pvp. Also not my fault I can use a sniper last words aa to my advantage. Realistically they should have better movement and frames and other specs than me. But doesn't stop them being cry babies whenever they lose in a game.
