Hello Guardians,
There is only 8 weeks remaining before witchqueen releases.
I wanted to know is it a good idea to start stockpiling on bounties as from this month ?
Or is it better to wait at least 4 weeks before release ?
Are we going to be allowed to keep the completed bounties before WitchQueen ?

It’s way too early. You can only hold a maximum number of bounties per character (63)which is dependent on how many items are in your quest inventory. I stockpile weekly after completing the 8 bounty requirements for Vanguard, Gunsmith, Crucible, & Gambit. That’s 32 right there. Half your allocated space. Easily done in a week. Two weeks before Witch Queen will allow plenty of time to fill your inventory. You should leave a few spots open though in order to be able to pickup the new quests and don’t cash in any bounties until you’ve unlocked your artifact.

You have been able to store bounties since destiny 1. They said they said they don't really like people doing it cause the "hardcores" burn through content to fast, then complain that there is nothing to do. TLDR They don't like it but are unlikely to stop it cause people would rage.

If your goal is to hit 100 rank or do master lost sectors very early then stock pile bounties. If you’re trying to make sure you meet raid level then they disable artifacts for day 1

I started stockpiling after the first iron banner of the season, which is super early but i like getting it out of the way early. Bungie hasn't said anything regarding it, so as of right now stockpiling is still an option, but just not from locations that are being sunset in Witch Queen. Those bounties will be removed but everything else is fair game (Nothing from the tangled shore or any bounties gathered from the helm.)
