I was using cheat engine to mod halo while I was waiting for crucible to load did i do something wrong here halo mcc supports mods.

Weird how Bungie even knows what apps you have running on your PC, pretty sure that's illegal. I mean, obviously if you're injecting code, then it can be detected, but just by having another, unrelated app running in the background?

Cheat Engine is a memory scanning and modification tool. It will try to attach to any running program and read its data. While you may not have been targeting Destiny 2 itself, by having the two running at the same time Cheat Engine attempted to access and read Destiny 2's data, which the game will detect and stop, resulting in your ban.

Yes. Bungie doesn’t support any mods/cheats running while also running d2. Thus, a ban was rightfully issued per policy.
