For those unaware, Xbox 360 Halo games (Halo 3, Halo 3: ODST, Halo: Reach & Halo 4) will be shutdown forever from January 13th 2022. This means online multiplayer will no longer be possible. Achievements for online modes will also be unavailable. Custom games, Forge & Firefight (ODST) will still be available.
If anyone wants to play those games online for whatever reason, you have about a month left to do so. I will be playing Halo 3 as much as possible, so I hope to see a few of you in Social Slayer (the only active playlist).
The Master Chief Collection will not be affected by this.

Most of the multiplayers were dead anyway. Except maybe reach.

Wow that sucks. It sounds like only matchmaking is affected, so you will still be able to play with others over Xbox Live. At least its not a complete execution like it was for Halo 2
