Attempting to purchase BL seasons, did I just get scammed?

So, I bought Beyond Light, furthermore, I know I have to purchase the seasons to play the content. I bought Season of the Lost in the "seasons" tab. I then go to "Destinations" tab to play and to the middle left of the planetary selection I click on "Destiny 2: Beyond Light" and its now making me purchase the deluxe edition, which is all 4 seasons. That's what I wanted, all 4 seasons. Ok, so, deluxe is $29.99 and I literally just finished paying $9.99 for season 4. Is it (deluxe edition) at least giving me a discount for already purchasing and owning season 4? If not, I'm pretty sure [i]Bungie[/i] just scammed me out of 10 bucks. Any help? Can I get a refund for the $9.99 season 4 and purchase the deluxe edition upgrade for all 4 seasons?

  • Hi there. What you clicked on is not a campaign or season content, it's an advertisement for the BL Deluxe edition. What you purchased was a single season pass for the current active Season of the Lost. The prerequisite for the campaign is to have unlocked the Dreaming City by completing the first mission of Forsaken, "Last Call". If you haven't done that yet, you can get access to the mission from the Quests Archive in the Tower and it will then appear on the Tangled Shore map. The season campaign is usually started automatic after logging in, so try logging out and back in if you're not automatically put into it. Otherwise the mission you're looking for is "Cocoon" and I believe it should be found on the Dreaming City map. If you've already done the Cocoon intro mission, visit the Awoken Hanger section in the HELM to continue the campaign. The prorated price you see for the Deluxe edition means you already own the Beyond Light DLC (or it's on sale on that platform) and the price is for unlocking all 4 season passes + Deluxe edition bonus items. [u]There is no discount for already owning any season passes.[/u] Season passes already applied to your account cannot be returned or revoked. For a refund you would need to contact the platform support that you bought from. Since you already spent the $10 Silver you purchased to buy a season pass, requesting a refund (if they allow it) will result in -1000 Silver removed from your balance in-game. If your balance is then in the negative, you must repay the negative amount in order to buy anything with Silver.
