I have read and understand that Forsaken is scheduled for the vault.
However, I have to ask: Is Forsaken being vaulted to save space, or is it being vaulted to snuff out what Uldren did to Cayde-6? Or both?
New lights won't understand what happened, and fully grasp the struggles that Crow endures.
For sympathizers of Crow this is good, for guardians that won't let Cayde-6 memory go, this is bad.
Either way, for space, or for removing parts of the story so we accept Crow and forget about Uldren, this isn't going to help Bungies' ability to tell a story fluently with little to no gaps. This is going to blur the lines for most.
Disappointing.

Honestly Bungie should release another game called destiny 2: legacy where it's all single player, completely free, and everything gear wise is unlocked. It features all the vaulted campaigns. It's a separate game so file size isn't an issue, all single player so you don't have to dedicate servers to it (maybe there can be coop where the players host the servers, idk that much about technology lol). The point is, this is where new players can experience the story, old players can reminisce, and the evolving destiny 2 game is unaffected bc it's a separate entity. This limits you to single player activities of course, so the raids are still vaulted, but at least the story is there. I would love to spin through red war again, fighting through the old tower was a blast
