So why did they decide to get rid of the Haunted Forest?
So does anyone know as to why the Haunted Forest is gone? And if they will be bringing it back? That was my favorite aspect of the game during Halloween. The Haunted Sector is okay... But it doesn't have the same feel as the Haunted Forest. I even noticed with the amount of players I see in the Tower. There isn't as many as when the Forest was around. I was so excited to play the Haunted Forest again, and to be honest, I'm a little disappointed.

It was time for something new. It was fun here and there but I did not enjoy having to either slog through it solo or play catch-up to speed runners.

The Forest needed to go. 3 years (?) in a row with the same thing was boring. These new Haunted Sectors are much more rewarding.

Mercury is gone, so is the forest.

Let’s be real. People would be screaming to the rooftops how Bungie is lazy if they were to use the haunted forest again.

Mercury has been vaulted would be the Bungie answer. I enjoyed the event (Forest) somewhat, but felt it was too long. I'm sure I'll be bored of this new activity soon enough, but at least it's quicker.
