With the announcement of the DCV, Harbinger and Presage in the Latest TWAB, the thought of exotics weapons came to mind, as exotics in the overworld drop just seem.... lack luster sometimes. Is it time, we start to introduce non-raid/non-quest/non-seasonal like exotics such as Monte Carlo, Vigilance Wing or even Thunderlord with the ability to drop with random rolls, similar to Hawkmoon and DMT, opposed to allowing them to feel like the exact same and kinda not as popular looked upon? Such as picking up an exotic engram, to obtain the Huckelberry (fluted, ricochet, Rampage, short action stock - curated roll) to Instead get the weapon with Hammer-Forged Rifling, High Calibre rounds, Swashbuckler, Hand-Laid Stock? Giving the old feel of Destiny 1 selection on exotics but maintaining the feel of Destiny 2 form of random rolls.
