Good Ole' Uncle HoTh has a story for YOU!

guys and gals—well, realistically speaking, gal— I have a STORY for YOU! My last ten months has been nothing short of movie-esqe. I feel the need to unburden myself and I figured I'd give y'all a few kicks and giggles on the way. So here we go! part 1 of God-knows-how-many.
Starting in December of last year. I am a manager at a particular chicken restaurant and the owner of the one I work at possesses three units. A few of y'all know this but not many of y'all do, but I care a lot about that restaurant. Probably more than most people who work there combined. One particular day I was leading the kitchen. Right in the run up to dinner, during the very busy Christmas season, I was informed of my impending transfer to another location. I was crushed. My heart shattered! My world flipped upside down! I was a teary, sobering mess, but dinner had to go on! so I continued on and proceeded to run a near flawless dinner while completely blinded by my hot bulbous tears. The news was broken to me after working the lions share of my youth away at that place to build it to a point of which I was nearly satisfied with it. This comes as I was transferring universities as well. That night, I called my girlfriend to tell her the news and she immediately expressed concern about the "cuter girls at the other store trying to steal me away." Fast forward to the beginning of January, I had just returned from vacation with my family, a week into my new store, and I caught covid. A terrifying diagnosis as my whole family living in the house at the time either has autoimmune issues, is above the age of 50, or, as in my case, has asthma. So I called my girlfriend again to share the news and to encourage her to get tested. Ten minutes later, I was a single man. She left me for a 17 yr old barista at her job. Told me I was too good for her and other associated lies. Getting dumped is one of the worst things that can happen to a person. Nothing brings out soul crushing insecurities like getting dumped for being too good. Makes you wonder they left if you where "practically perfect". The next day, I shaved my head, bought a pair of Jordans, and left for my brothers house. He also had covid.
Stay tuned, there is sooooo much more I am open to questions or comments, leave a bump if you like
