Bungie really has dropped the ball. One of the fun missions we used to do in Halo was a mission where we get trapped or otherwise tricked into and suddenly have to turn around and fight our way out of the area.
Like the mission with Crota and his crystal summons a bunch of invincible enemies or when Eris sent us to get the cryptolyth and then we had to run out. Where are those missions at? They had a prime potential for the endless night season to get us trapped and then immediately start a new mission to escape the vex network.
Maybe one with Savathun breaking free of the crystal, using her song on us to make us a shield, and then pulling us through a portal with her afterward? Does anyone else want a mission each season with unexpected parameters?
