Vex mythoclast drop?

So I just want to make sure I get the drop location of Vex right. Does Vex Mythoclast drop from killing Atheon, or a full raid completion? Can you just farm atheon for it to drop or do you have to actually run through the entire raid to get it. I wanna know how exactly I have to farm so I don’t waist my time.
