So who do you think is gonna die in Witch Queen?
According to a recent interview with Bungie apparently there's a good reason that the gun Spoiler Alert has returned to the game. So one of our fellow allies or Guardians is probably going to meet their end. Any theories who?

It was pretty good in d1, its description was just there, but if we really are making theories it could be osiris, yes savathun siad she would return him but truth.... is a funny thing.

Either Osiris or Eris. Though personally I’d like to see saint save Osiris as he had done for him with the sun dial.
