Dear Bungie,
On a monetary level, it doesn't make sense why Bungie hasn't added all the past ornaments to Eververse. The benefit of the season pass and leveling is that you get the ornaments for the cost of the season pass if you level up to 100, but once it's gone, you have no other chance of getting it, even if you bought the season pass. It therefore would be beneficial to both the company AND the players if they added the old ornaments that are no longer obtainable to the Eververse store for purchase.
I know many players I've spoken to feel the same way, and wouldn't mind some other way to obtain these ornaments. Most players would understandably prefer earning them, but adding them to the store wouldn't hurt if there were both methods available. You could even sell them in Ada-1's inventory for the price of synthweave material, which would be a fair system for both you and the players. You could even only make them available to players who owned those season passes if you so chose to, if only to make it fairer to those who paid for those season passes.
-With regards,
Sir Exo XII

Edited by KannibalKlown: 9/26/2021 10:50:55 PMI would normally say artificial scarcity and fear of missing out. But from what I can tell they have the vast majority of non-legendary ornaments in the store at any given time. And only a handful are excluded. So it’s weird. Is it like a memory issue? A storefront page limit issue? Etc. It’s weird. If no it was like half missing or 1/3 missing, it would make some sort of capitalistic sense. But it’s just a handful afaik I’ll admit. I’ve bought a handful. There’s currently only 1 more exotic ornament I want (outbreaks pan demic) and 1 finisher (warlock looks like chaos reach) and honestly those 2 are not in the store. Particularly outbreak I have seen that since the world changed but I imagine it is a naming issue in bad taste
