The inability to play through the content in a linear story line is a major bummer.
I ran an alt account through. Once I got up to Battlegrounds found out the 'Decrypting the Darkness' quest step was bugged.
__ Copy and paste of the fix that worked:
" Decrypting the darkness " I managed to get the quest by completing each of the past seasons and new quest steps up until the decrypting the darkness step. (season of the chosen, season of the splicer and season of the lost ) once you have all three on the same step, the quest should be waiting for you at the decoder."
For chronological playthrough this is disheartening. As you find out you killed Something before you get to just to run through it in order.
I think some focus on placing an order of Time on content would be nice. Even if its a Chronological list of strikes, story missions etc. As an avid player I know people that may have interest in playing but they want that linear storyline.

The inability to launch some activities without a fireteam. I.E. Strikes, Overrides, Astral Alignment, etc. I understand the concept of helping others as a community team. Granted the person running through getting No- HUD screenshots is definitely going to use another means. Like Launch it with a net script to block matchmaking. I understand this goes against terms. But its kind of a pain to pull 5 people aside to hide when doing shots.
Along with this are the people that like the challenge. Solo Flawless Astral Alignment. We all know people doing this already as mentioned. But feasibly its easier just to have a solo launch capability. We know most people that launch it will find it too hard and use matchmake anyways.

In reference to the solo players that Take the time to Solo GMs or even just activities that higher in level. I feel they should get some extra bonus like guaranteed double loot etc. I know most of them get reputation in videos but some don't. And even getting others to try to do it will make a stronger player base.

The clan Size still being 100 with cross play active. Granted discord still pulls large groups together. But without discord managing and running multiple clans would be highly frustrating.
I feel if the size could be brought upto 300 it might benefit everyone.

A huge worry about the next season and vault space is a huge concern for many players. I feel this should be a highlight to be posted soon in a TWAB. Are we going to get any more space or is it not possible with hardware limits of Last gen consoles....

Gambit has gotten very dry. The map & enemy type with same exact spawns every time. This has made matches clean and dry for strong players. I feel the changes that were made put gambit in the dark as a mistake. While it can be improved upon. With things like dark & light motes. Or random player chosen to invade. Freelance matchmaking. A Trials like reward system. 1v1 or 2v2 setup. It just seems after season of the drifter gambit was placed in this don't touch anymore mode and was changed to intentionally get rid of it.

Trials matchmaking. To be clear not sure if its 1 x flawless vs 500+ flawless is ok. But I have read the gripes and maybe a tiered pool will help out. I know if I went flawless the first time solo que & then faced anyone with over 10 Flawless I'd be disheartened and stop playing trials. Granted I am patient and would just take the losses to ruin my ranking to match less skilled players. In an honest form I didn't run trials the 2nd week because I hit pinnacle cap and no longer needed the extra pinnacles. I have plenty of weapons to compete with the non-adept weapons. Have no interest to focus on anything that doesn't help my xp hit +30 power boost for Master VOG later this season/holidays.

Story only pve / new players insights
From the perspective of a new player gameplay and rewards.
We do know a lot of people just read objectives and don't read tips or descriptions.
Yet Along with the Main playlist introduction quests. One focused on the Gunsmith and explaining the purpose of acquiring mod components and weekly rotations in general would be great. Its pretty nice thing to know where the mods come from but as most of the rare ones are purchase now. A focus towards gearing people to have that in mind while playing will help.
Ascendant shard rewards for campaign completions first time but only for account and no deletions of characters allowed to achieve. Maybe a triumph thing.
This is in the perspective that most of the exotics in the Kiosk require a shard and cipher to purchase.
Specifics. Forsaken, Shadowkeep, Beyond Light, and Season 14 (to be removed). This being 3 purchases along with the other 2-3 you can easily get. Along with the 2 from the season pass. So early game a new player may purchase 7-8 exotics from the kiosk before doing activities that reward them.
Especially with the removal of Ace of Spades exotic. Something I bought first from completing the Forsaken campaign on my fresh account. Just felt right to be rewarded that at end of that campaign.
In game explanation of how the Fated engram works . First time visit of xur tutorial basically. Something new players may overlook and I feel something to direct them how to achieve a complete exotic collection would benefit.
First time raid completion awarding an ample amount of Spoils of Conquest. Along with awarding another smaller amount for specific raid first completions. This is just to push people in the mind set of what the rewards are and what the benefit is to playing those activities consistently. Besides the gear or pinnacles.

Minimal HUD - Recommendation
Implementing some sort of customizable hud. Not specifically location on screen.
But something like a super, last Clip warning, grenade, melee, and class ability Icon that flashes when available and has an auto hide function. Allow duration of flash, opacity, auto-hide timer customizations.
This is something of a personal wish after playing the game with no HUD consistently. Its much more enjoyable without all the health bars, and damage numbers IMO. Definitely something I feel could be worked on is the HUD.

Nostalgia concepts/not really concerns.
Gambit Prime gear doesn't have a glow option or customization with transmog. Maybe an inventory mod slot for glows? I just think this would be a nice set if it glowed again.
Sparrows in general have the one issue. The fastest one is the only one & basically the only one most will use because of it. Unless its the sleigh during Holidays.
Whats the point of 150 or other 160 exotic sparrows. If one beats them all in speed and versatility.
I think either a transmog option or modding them could lighten up that customization.

Bump for vault space alone
