So twab after twab, it looks like ppl at bungie are reading the feedback, so i thoguht id give mine and i wont be going into a discussion with the ppl who disagree.
almost 30 trials game today, ALL of them against 3 stacks decked out in timeslot gear and myth ect.. while most , not all of my teammates , have barely high engough power level with double primaries. Around half of them just jump off and die straight away out of discouragement i guess ?
So fast forward a couple of hours, im still on my third win , and only 1 trial engram.
Safe to say, i will stop playing trials as of today, at first i was waiting for freelance , but after this weeks experience i don't think ill jump in, i may try it but wont go for the long haul.
Anyway , that was my honest take on trials, defo not for the solo players, but enjoy it if u do. cheers
Also, im just thankful i got to get in with the matchmaking and get some loot , as im a trasnmo nerd.

Play on Sunday that way most of the try hards and good solos are in the flawless pool.
-
I had two friends who had been to lighthouse join me who hadn't been to lighthouse this week, and because they had been to lighthouse, I end up playing against all the go hards sooooo rubbish.

Fully agree mate. Same story. I'm bad and I know it. I might never get into flawless and I accept it. But when I lose I don't want to play vs 3 stack that are coordinated etc. I will never learn anything if I'm instantly dead. I don't think Bungie listens to players tbh
-
There needs to be a way that you can report players for leaving in mid match. This is garbage. You still get a loss so why would you leave. Whoever you people are are trash. Garbage people at life. You are the reason most Gamez aren't good. As soon as it gets hard you run away and don't want to play anymore or you just cheat your way to the top. You suck at life you losers.

They changed how matchmaking works from last weekend. Give up on Trials for this weekend, I get it, this was a horrible mistake but, don't completely give up on Trials. Bungie is still tweaking Trials and hopefully they know this weekend was a very bad change.

Edited by Talia Sendua: 9/19/2021 12:37:12 AMPersonally I think Trials should require at least the hard cap of power to play it when it comes to power. This season that would be 1320 power. 1330 power is pinnacle. That way lowlevels can't lay trials, griefing your team indirectly by their gear.

The best way bungie can ever get a grip on trials is by making it 7 regardless of flawless or not
-
You can thank bungie for making the flawless pool. Sweats dont want to sweat. So they just reset at 6 wins to stay out of the flawless pool, rolling newbs. Yall asked for this, not you of course, but in general, and its hilarious for it to crumble

Edited by DogePirate_: 9/18/2021 3:01:52 AM12 games in to Trials so far (I'm on console, I feel that's important to say because PC honestly sounds like hell right now)... 8 games against a full enemy stack (7 of those games all solos on my team) 4 games with a 2 stack on enemy side. The majority of my teams have been all solos. Like I get solos vs three stacks is bound to happen, but this feels pretty ridiculous and can get frustrating. IDK if that says something more about the matchmaking or the population in this gametype (maybe both lol).
-
This is the result of the flawless pool. It was not nearly this bad for solos last week.
-
Pretty much exactly what I said would happen. This is not a solo friendly environment because Bungo decided it would be a good idea to match solos against teams. If there was a real freelance mode none of this would be an issue.

I feel you

Edited by SICKUNiT: 9/18/2021 12:19:01 PMIt gets better after your 9th or 10th loss. I've matched my 1st non 3 stack on my 11th game, and 12th. Got my first win after the 10th loss. If you hang in there. After you loose 10 to 15 games. I think something happens. My 12th and 13th and 14th have been all 3 stacks.
-
I'm afraid this is in a part a reflection of the average player that would solo queue vs the average player that would be in a 3 man foreteam in trials. The solo queuers are more likely casual in terms of their mindset in relation to trials. They are more likely there for the loot rather than going all out to get flawless. Otherwise they'd probably make sure they are in a 3 stack! Given the mindset, the solo queuers are less likely to make sure they have the best (cheesiest) loadouts equipped unlike the stacks playing to win. All in all until we have actual freelance, solo queuing will be very much a lottery.

No more free hand outs 👍
i wont be going into a discussion with the ppl who disagree.
Ah yes the most useless of posts and the worst of sentences.
If I’m wrong please just let me pretend I’m right
I got 0 engrams from matches alone this week and last week also the getting constantly 3 stacked makes me want to get the quitter penalty instead of actually playing it. And the whole idea of not reseting your passage past 7 wins makes me want to reset my passage because of the amount of 3 stacks
-
I played by myself before I played with my boys I went flawless and won’t be playing anymore this weekend. With that being said the number of people who jump of the map is ridiculous you could be done one round and they would start jumping off the map lol
-
Playing solo, was at my flawless match and my random duo just jumps the cliff, just -blam!- off!
-
I do not understand why Bungie needs to fiddle with the system all the time besides for cheaters and to make the games run as stable as possible on their end. In Destiny 1 you could join literally anyone, and I don't care who I end up with so long the connection are fine. Why SBMM and why the flawless system! There is a change you run into anyone in the wild that is whole fun about it! "You never know who you run into"! And yes they could add solo que I understand but for the rest leave it!
