Competitive PvP (Rage)
OMG I feel like this game doesn't want me to win. I'm trying to do the showdown weekly seasonal challenge and I keep getting put up against people who have went flawless. How is this fair? I've never got Unbroken or a Flawless seal, so why would you put me up against people who have? I genuinely wanted to break my controller. Like if I was a new player trying out crucible and I had 10 losses back to back I would uinstall this game. Please put in better matchmaking cause this is horrible.

I am in the same boat right now. I used to get my challenges done in two to three games and actually had some close matches but very fun competition. Now I can’t get but 5 kills in a total game. This time around It took me forever to get my weekly challenge done. I hate the matchmaking right now. Had one good game so that means I have to play top tier players the next four games. Trials this weekend was terrible too. Could only get two wins on a card before losing. Always matched with randoms, which is fine, but never got put with a pair and went against a lot of fully stacked teams. Turning the game off for now cause its more frustrating than enjoyable.

Please put in better matchmaking cause this is horrible.[/quote] It's a good thing the seasonal challenge didn't require wins. It's 13% for a loss and 20% for a win. It's 8 matches or less. Get over it.

3 Repliesbefore crossplay i was an ok player...since that..im finding it extremely difficult now..one shot killed...cast super run round corner and one shot killed...supers might as well be done away with...to be killed by a hand cannon with one shot whilst in super mode is bloody ridiculous...some -blam!- im experiencing in crucible is starting to make me feel that there is some element of cheating going on or im simply getting too old for this...probably the latter..but still something just doesnt feel right ...if it wasnt for the triumphs im after i can now simply say i dont enjoy pvp no more and could quite easily stop playing it all togethor

Totally agree. Showdown is legendary where trials is exotic. Midweek showdown has been trials. Played 3 games for the pinnacle and agree with other poster that it is just games and not (unobtainable) kills. Thank you Bungie. How about those enjoyable (sarc) matches just finished?? 3 losses, expected. 40 to 7 / 31 to 12 / 42 to 8 All saved to video for Destiny documentary. Working on catalyst for vigilance wing. Running, using cover, etc. but every encounter i make multiple shots on target and get insta killed when shot at. Wearing full set of raid armor with 3 of the pieces master-worked. I have said crucible needs handicaps like bowling or golf in the past, at least filter out the flawless #%*~}s. Agree that cross play has done much more harm than good. Who wanted that

Playing 3s is very different from 6s. There are good YouTube videos that can help you learn the differences in strategy.
