Bungie this is a pretty egregious infraction here... I went to purchase my Trials passage and whatnots, and Saint-14 politely asked me for a hug I could not give. The other guardians and I just gave him the cold shoulder. Now, who decided Saint gets put by his lonesome in the hangar like a red-headed step child? Furthermore who then decided that he perpetually, forever will be disappointed in every guardian, that he loves so much, by denying him the simple affections of a hug?
Everybody needs a friend, but they aren't always enough on their own. Sometimes everybody needs a big ol' hug, whether it be from a friend or your grandma, or a kind stranger. Sometimes we need reminders that we're all human, and that we can all be sad and connect with one another; but a simple gesture of the closest kindness can change someone's life.
I feel like we should be able to give Saint a guardian style hug when he needs it. Man, he lost Osiris. Dude's all worried all the time that he'll lose him, he'll stop at nothing to bring him back safe. Then he put himself out there for the Eliksni, who only knew him as a demon. Let's not forget his role saving everyone from the Vex, and the glorious weapons we got in the Sundial times. Saint just loves everybody, but he knows his fate in life. He's a humble -blam!- dude, and we can't even give him a hug? This is how we repay his duty and genuine humanity? For shame. This is a travesty.
I'd say I'm about 75% not serious, but also 25% serious about this. I mean, if we really think about it, shouldn't we all be kind of serious, and adamant about this?
