Vex has gone in a direction that all exotic primaries need to go in.
Since vex was buffed it has become very apparent that exotic primaries can be VERY viable in pve content. What we need is changes to other primaries that equal the buff to vex, especially the ones that see no use at all. Just a small list of primaries that are just not remotely viable and could see some similar buffs:
- wishender
- jade rabbit
- Monte Carlo
- cryosthesia
- Polaris Lance
- SKYBURNERS OATH (x100 please ;_;)
Others not mentioned have utility like risk runner, Cerberus or malfeasance but I feel like adding champion mods could make them even more useful in end game pve.

1 ReplyI agree, I wish all exotic weapons in the game were this strong. The problem wkth vex rn is that 1. It is a balance outlier. The buff instantly made it the meta in PvP and PvE because it is so good now compared to everything else. If everything was this good, it wouldnt matter, but right now only vex is as good as it is. It is also a problem for it to be locked behind RNG with no bad luck protection. No, I am not complaining about it because I don't have it. I have the gun and the catalyst. It is straight up not fair that I have the game-wide best gun because of luck.
