I hear Datto is already complaining about vex, that guy seriously annoys me. Is vex OP? No it really isn’t, players aren’t used to auto rifles being a viable option. Vex is an auto rifle that gets a 20% damage boost for every kill, its basically an auto rifle with rampage and zen moment. Vex has the farthest range of its archetype which is why its so consistent at far ranges. Its a raid exotic for gods sake, let it have its power fantasy. Other exotics in the game need that power fantasy, hard-light needs the no falloff damage back. Monte carlo needs range and recoil buffs, bad juju needs the stacks to end at 3 instead of 5. Outbreak perfected needs some form of unflinching perk because that thing cant handle flinch. Malfeasance should activate its perk at 4 slugs instead of 5. Skyburners needs a massive buff to its hip fire tracking, jade rabbit needs an actual exotic perk because the one it has is garbage. All these exotics and more need massive buffs, vex I feel is actually balanced, I’m able to outplay the vex with my grid skipper or my thorn. Vex is an auto rifle at the end of the day, get yourself a weapon that deals enough flinch or simply learn to strafe with high mobility and the vex ttk goes up drastically. peek shoot with hand cannons is extremely effective, its about time exotics stop getting nerfed and you guys learn to adapt. I will admit when something is straight up busted but vex? Its strong, as it should be.

I agree, I wish all exotic weapons in the game were this strong. The problem wkth vex rn is that 1. It is a balance outlier. The buff instantly made it the meta in PvP and PvE because it is so good now compared to everything else. If everything was this good, it wouldnt matter, but right now only vex is as good as it is. It is also a problem for it to be locked behind RNG with no bad luck protection. No, I am not complaining about it because I don't have it. I have the gun and the catalyst. It is straight up not fair that I have the game-wide best gun because of luck.

Vex got the love it deserved and it probably will end up being nerfed by popular demand. The only issue I have with it is the rate of fire, as I can't really wrap my head around why it has a high range stat vs comparable Autos, good Stability, the same damage profile but also just shoots faster. Power fantasy is one thing, but it's a separate issue when it's making a whole archetype worthless just by existing. On the other Exotics, I think Monte Carlo is fine. It's rumoured to be getting a Catalyst soon, so it shouldn't need any wholesale changes. Jade Rabbit, on the other hand, might as well not even have any perks. Zen Moment on a gun with 82 Stability and a trait that encourages you to be inaccurate for no actual benefit. I'm also interested to know what's going on with SUROS Regime, as Bungie included it in their short list of Exotics that they think need improving. Sure, no one is using it, but it's still very good.

Bruh wishender monte and Polaris are already good. Give the first two catalysts and they’re just fine.

Agreed However your fav streamer his name starts with a D is already crying like a lil baby and calling for nerfs which is ridiculous after he complained last season it was under whelming and was not a viable option
