Baldur's Gate 3 lets you use a shield in your primary hand and a torch in the off hand. People questioned my choices as a Heavy Armor Warlock. Oh well they were laughing when my absolute unit came in blasting and was able to bonk with a lit torch for heavy bludgeon damage with added fire. Now that is how you make an Eldritch Knight.
