The rate taken psion multiply feels out of hand sometimes
Not sure if other people are experiencing this, but while in the prophecy, at ether of the boss encounters, the rate at which psion are multiplying feels ridiculous some times. There are times I am not able to kill them quicker than they are popping up. The issue I'm having with it is mainly how they can spawn in and immediately start multiplying. This causes it to quickly get out of hand. I would understand if I let them stay around for a long time, but its happening off their spawn so you might as well have just spawned double the amount. I get that them multiplying is their mechanic, but something feels off about the rate and how quickly they do it sometimes.

1 ReplyThe aggressiveness of Taken Psion splitting really seems to have been cranked up with the launch of Beyond Light, so there’s the possibility that it was an intentional decision by the devs to counteract the crowd control potential of the Stasis subclasses. Without any apparent changes to this behavior on the way, those looking to solo Prophecy these days would do well to combine Rat King (+ Catalyst) with some form of AoE special weapon, that way you can consistently go invis when they gang up on you then respond at a time of your choosing with an attack that clears out a good number of them.
