So this post is for people who are new to gambit and play without a mic as a solo.
What is gambit
It's a pve and pvp combined mode game. 1 teams of 4 kill bad guys and bank motes to summon a primeval. First one to kill the primeval wins.
You can invade or be invaded. Invaders can kill players from opposing teams. You can also kill an invader in your territory.
Collected motes must be deposited in a bank at center of your map. Depositing 5, 10 or 15 motes sends a small, medium or large blocker to the opposing team's territory. A blocker blocks your bank and you cannot deposited motes until the blocker is dead.
Multiple blockers can be sent at a time. When multiple blocker are sent, the opposite team's motes are slowly transferred to your bank. The size of blocker does not matter. 2 small blockers will siphon motes just like 2 large blockers.
Strategies
Kill quickly
Killing enemies quickly ensures you are ahead in the collection game.
Mote sensibility
If you have 5 motes and a teammate has 4 then let them pick the 5th so that you both can send blockers. If someone has 13, let them pick 2 to send the large blocker. Don't be the guy who has just 6 motes while his teammate has 14. Its a team game.
Don't die
Death loses motes. If you have killed a lot of ads and collected motes then ue death will wate those motes and your team will have to find other source of motes to make up for the loss.
Heavy ammo
Leave heavy ammo for the invader. Only pick it up if you are ready to invade during mote collection phase.
Kill blockers
Just see a blocker then kill it.
Invasion
Portal opens to other team when you deposited enough motes. There are markers in your mote progress bar to tell you how many motes you need to open the portal. Invasion is only useful when other team has undeposiyed motes. You can also invade to annoy them so that they waste time chasing you. Snipers and seeking rockets or linear fusions are really good for annoying other team. Supers are best as last resort.
Invade only if
Invade only if you have good weapons for pvp kills. Pve weapons may not be good for invasion. Heavies are normally good so ensure you have heavy or a super for killing pvp style (golden gun is a good example).
level matters
PvP level advantages are enables. If you are 1250 and enemy team is 1330 then good luck with dps on guardians. It won't end well.
Primal envoy
Kill envoys before using your super on the big guy. You can see the buff at bottom left. Envoys always have void shields so it helps a bit with matching weapon.
Primeval
The boss is normally a tough taken enemy. To kill it you need to weaken it by killing envoys. 2 envoys spawn with the appearance of boss. Kill them to get damage buff before wasting wasting your heavy on the boss. More envoys appear when you damage the boss a bit more. Killing these envoys will increase the boss damage buff. 4x buff is enough to kill the boss with supers or heavies very quickly.
Healing opposite team's primeval
When the opposite team has a primeval you can invade and kill the othe players to heal their primeval. See section about invasion above to check how to do this.
