Hi everyone I was just wondering if there was anything I could to get a better connection to Destiny 2. My campus wifi is apparently very strict and upon finding that out I quickly set up a VPN to see if that helped (it didn't even let me have a voice chat on Discord previously). Luckily for me that did the trick and I can do voice calls just as well as I'd like too but when I was trying to set up a match with my boyfriend that's when the problems started. Without a VPN Destiny 2 won't even run but with a VPN I've managed to get about 10/15 minutes of game play before it boots me back saying that the NAT is not compatible, the VPN I'm using right now doesn't have a free PnP connection but I don't mind purchasing a new one I just want to know if that's my only option.
I have a HP laptop btw
Also if you have any recommendations for the VPN service please list them.

You can try talking to the College IT group to see if they can make exception rules for your game. Otherwise you'll need to try different VPN services as some are good and some are not so good. Another option is to create a free Stadia account and try the base D2 on Stadia which is free to play like it is on all the other platforms. Stadia is played through a web browser so the only networking requirement is network speed and latency. If it works relatively flawlessly then you'd have the option of playing D2 via Stadia. So unless the College is blocking the Stadia service or throttling throughput speeds on campus users it should work without issue. If Stadia works you can cross save your Steam account to it so your Steam characters would be playable there. You also would have the option of playing on controller or K&M, whichever you're currently using on Steam.
