Getting this error after battleye starts

This has been reported on Windows 8 and 10 as well.
Reinstalls haven't helped, replacing dll hasn't worked, reportedly upgrading to Windows 10 has had some success but also some failures.
Patience is required, but silence isn't

Our issue made it to the top of the issue list in todays TWAB, so we have some progress, however shallow it may be.

I was about to go buy Witch Queen's $100 bundle before booting up the game but I'm glad I didn't. Would have wasted $100 if I did. Specs probably don't matter as it's an OS issue, but in case it does, my CPU is an i5-4690k and my GPU is an RX580.
