I will update to 10 eventually tho, just hoped for more time

Somewhat ironically, this has pushed me over the edge to migrate AWAY from 10 to Linux on the rest of my machines. I'm not going to install 10, 11 or anything that comes after as anything other than a VM running on a Linux distribution. They're too much of an unreliable mess.
