What unsettles me the most is that no BNGHelp accounts have come in to acknowledge the issue or affirm that they're trying to fix it.
I get a dreaded feeling they're about to drop a "Win 7 is no longer supported" announcement and post an official "solution" that you need to upgrade to Win 10.
Or maybe they'll leave it as an "we're looking into it" status like they've left the prerendered cutscenes stutter since Beyond Light launched. Nothing will be done for a couple weeks or months, and then ... *see previous action*
Hope I'm being overly pessimistic.

requiring people to upgrade from Windows 7 to Windows 10 wouldn't have any merit anyways, because... 1- there is nothing in the minimum requirements about distinguishing features between the two. 2- and if there was a difference, it would be DirectX 12. but even then that point is moot because...Cyberpunk 2077 runs solely on DirectX 12. Microsoft did release an API for Windows 7 to call on DirectX 12 functions. so honestly, there is literally no reason for bungie to make that requirement. And since Bungie is owned by xbox game studios....which is owned by Microsoft...they can easily integrate the correct API if that was their future excuse.

That would be a recipe for a class action lawsuit for all Win7 users as this expansion plus all Seasons were sold as Win7 compatible. Open and shut case, it's a non-option.

Espero que no...eso sería muy raro (es un beneficio indirecto para otras comp)----llevan años publicando en steam los requisitos mínimos y que de repente los cambien.... (hay otros juegos que ocupan el mismo motor gráfico y no tienen esos problemas...

If this happens im dropping out of D2 forever, not even joking. There is not a single company that wouldn't give players at least 3 months before they make that kind of a change. I remember dota giving players almost full year to go from xp to 7 and bunch of other steam games too. You see nvidia made announcement about not supporting win7 anymore and they did it early in the year and gave everyone 10 months to adjust.

Very realistic bro but we need faith right now!

yep, here's hoping that we're still in the game.
