Hi everybody, I was looking with my clan companions the actual armor designs, and how the level of these are getting worst. An example of this. Pit of Heresy, why this dungeon do not have armor ?
Why they do not talk with the part of the community that creates concept arts like this one https://www.artstation.com/artwork/nQOaye Or improve existent armors like the Garden of Salvation https://www.artstation.com/artwork/rRwNm2 Imagine having armors with this quality and details.
Another example of armors:

Please bungie, try to get these armors, or at least make armor designs as amazing as these ones. Thanks for reading me.

No because bungie always wants to design armors according to unknown historical references nobody cares about and that looks awfull even in real life
-
Hi guys, I'm very happy about your support. Please share this post with everyone to make bungie realise of our opinion. Said this, idk you, but if they make the hive armor for example, I would pay silver for get it; of course I preferit like drop like in pit of heresy, but...

The people replying to this never played D1 in its prime, and it shows.
-
Too gaudy. All of them.
-
Pit has armor . It's the Moon set , with higher stats . Also the sets you shared are ugly ☺️

Edited by Unbreakable Patches: 8/22/2021 4:26:09 PMLiterally none of those really look that good. That Trials(?) armor looks especially bad.
-
All I want are the forsaken sets like the Prodigal set and the prison of elders sets from D1
-
They're all 💩 except the second link from the second list and out of those, only the middle set is something I'd use...if that dumb middle flap wasn't there.

I love seeing these types of concepts. Having said that, Bungie has some extremely good concept artists. I’m not a fan of some of the art direction for the armor, but the quality is good. Something you have to keep in mind is that 2d concepts with one view will almost always look better than the 3D finished product. These fan concepts also don’t seem to have the same proportions as an in-game Destiny character. People tend to make the heads smaller and legs longer as it tends to look more attractive. You also have to imagine each piece of armor separately. That Scarlet Keep hunter helmet looks a little flat to me. Then, you have to have to place each armor piece in the right spot to avoid major clipping issues. The Destiny community is really talented and I love seeing this stuff.

This is no joke. The armor design in Destiny 2 has for the most part been a true disappointment. All of this asymmetrical bullcrap is awful. I can't think of one set other than Trials of the Nine, that I like. Whoever approved the design's should honestly be fired.
-
I just want them to add back the Warlock armor from the taken King the one from my Avatar Photo that stuff will bomb.
-
The last best armor sets was when moment of triumphs happened in destiny 1 i loved the raid shaders an ornaments what we got now is just a hit or miss
-
These are amazing concepts by talented artists. Hopefully Bungie takes notice! LOVE those hive and vex themed designs.
-
Probably because it costs money to create new armor that people will just crap on. Why waste the investment if people just crap all over it?
-
I do have to say that the first set is the best linked. Really bummed that we didn’t get more thematic armor and weapons for the scarlet keep.
-
I've noticed on some of this art work, that they used previous assets. nothing looks original. id have to pass.
-
Lmao Bungie Devs are way to lazy and uncreative to make great looming armour like these...
-
Why asakito not do even to try creating sentence sense make all at.
-
Talented modders can do better armor for free..let that sink in
-
Bungie should have an armor designing contest where the winner's armor sets are added to the game.
-
Mark this post 1 year from now all of those armors will be in eververse 🤣
-
Bc that takes talent and passion, something that bungie doesn't have
-
Because Bungie is not as creative as these artist. Bungie should have a competition for fans to make armor concepts. The winner will get their armor put in destiny 2. I’ve seen some crazy, wonderful, awesome, and just plain weird fan art from fans. Some of these may work. Same goes for weapons. I will submit my first fan art weapon. A flamethrower. I call it “The Lighter”

Edited by Corrick II: 8/20/2021 8:09:02 AMI’d buy Mike Coombs’ set today, right now. That’s hot.
-
Hive Armor reigns supreme! Missed opportunity with Shadowkeep for the literal trash can armor we got.
-
I would love those armour sets in D2 :)
