Like, what's wrong with oversized hoodies and why should I have to wear salmon-colored dress shirts? Y'all ever realize most of these fashion showcases have these people walking out wearing furniture? What makes their style better just because they jump on the newest crap? There might have been some bias there, but you know what I mean.
What do you look for in your style? Do you actually ask yourself "Is it trendy?" "Is everyone else wearing this?" or "Is it simple and easy to put on?" "Will this look and fit comfortably regardless if society finds this as "outdated"?"

Fashion is dead, we killed it. Being a few years behind in a classy sort of way is the only option for staying afloat. You will never see me walk around in a lime green puffer jacket and purple tube top but according to the trends that’s what I should be wearing. Forget the fashion industry, it’ll make you cry. Wear comfortable clothes and add some color, that’s all you really need. My style is defined by 3 traits I look for: fit and flare, contrasting bright and neutral colors, and comfort. That’s it. I’m not in with trends, I think if I tried to be I’d lose it. Fit and flare is a huge deal for me. I’m super tall, super skinny. If I wear anything too tight I look like slenderman. I love baggy clothes, but it’s difficult to style bagginess in a way that looks sophisticated. For bottoms anything high-waisted goes. For tops it’s a similar deal. Cropped with mid length or wide sleeves. This pairing gives the illusion of me being a normally proportioned person. Throw on some boots and it’s more than perfect. Nothing I wear is currently “in” so to speak, but I don’t look out of place. I’m a stickler for oversized jackets, too much jewelry, oversized boots, huge button downs, and anything with big pockets. The “fit” makes me look put together, the “flare” brings comfort, contrasting depths, and a casual feel. Everything I own is comfortable enough and uniquely styled that I look like I put effort into my outfits when I really just curated a perfect wardrobe where anything goes together and I don’t have to think too hard about it.
